About the role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Manager to significantly improve the Society’s performance against all aspects of environmental sustainability. Working with stakeholders from across the Society and beyond your role will be to develop an Environmental Sustainability Strategy and supporting implementation plan that drives improvements to the performance of our business and bakes sustainability into all our external activities. From commissioned research to fundraising events to the advice we give to people living with dementia, your strategy will ensure that environmental considerations are given due weight. You will take the strategy and plan through the relevant approval processes and establish a delivery model with appropriate executive oversight to ensure that they are delivered. About you Experience within environment sustainability sector Experience of delivering projects. Be passionate, driven and focused on making a difference. Be a strong advocate for change but pragmatic enough to plan that change in a manner that meets business needs. Be a natural people person Be a strong communicator and skilled at helping people at all levels to coalesce around shared positions.
